Where in the world did the weekend go?!? It was kind of a whirlwind but in the best way! Friday night I had dinner with the sweetest blogger friend, Lindsey from SellEatLove. I am going to be honest I leave her all the time and just feel so uplifted. She is so confident and fearless it’s really inspiring. I am planning to go to Fashion Week this week AHAHAHAHAH!!! and so I was getting all the details of what to expect while we are there, it’s not for a while but I am already getting pumped. Saturday we were busy again all morning with errands and that night we spent playing games and eating Mexican with our friends. If you saw on Instagram stories, we literally wheeled wood in a wheelbarrow to our friends house…… what had happened was…. they called and said they wanted to use their fire pit to make smores but didn’t have wood. Andrew said no problem we will bring some with us. They only live 10 houses down the street, and I thought we would just drive the wood over. Not my man, he piled it all up in a wheelbarrow and we suddenly became the biggest rednecks of all time walking wood down the street haha . I definitely got a good laugh out of it!
Sunday was Senior Sunday, which is one of my favorite days of the year but also one of the busiest. I didn’t actually mean to start this post out as the longest weekend recap of all time, but there ya have it. In a nutshell I am pooped! Working today and then off for two days, which I plan to use for good ie : cleaning my house and getting my life together!
On another note, lets talk about this Mudpie dress! Back in January I went to The Atlanta Mart for the first time. It was a touch overwhelming but a really cool expirence. I reached out to the rep for Mudpie and we (myself and Lindsey from @sell _eat_love) that I mentioned above, met with there rep and talked about an upcoming collaboration opportunity!
This week two of my post will be my favorite picks from MudPie! This black tassel dress was at the very TOP of my list. With so many fun summer date nights coming up I can not think of a better dress to wear out on the patio! It is a light weight linen material that can be layered so many ways. For this post I just wanted to keep everything simple so you guys could see the dress by itself with a pop of color!
^^ Side note I would wash this dress by hand or have it dry cleaned, I worry the washer might destroy the integrity of the tassels. Just a thought!
This clutch is what my pink dreams are made of! It is $25 and comes in a couple of other colors too. I personally don’t feel like you can have too many tassels in your life. I am going to share a couple more ways to style it, esp with summer coming up. I really like that it stands out…. for the right reasons!
