Here is a brief overview of shades I used and why I love each product!
- Tula Primer – Once I tried this primer I couldn’t go back! It hydrated my skin without making it oily. Most primers always make my skin feel greasy. I love that it is light weight and goes on smooth. I tried it about a year ago and have been using it ever since!
2. Estee Lauder Foundation Shade Rattan – This is my RIDE OR DIE foundation. I have tried others and always come back to this one. Even on days when I work at the hospital and wear hardly any make up I use this foundation no matter what. It gives my skin such an evenness and is able to provide full coverage without making it look caked on.
3.Tarte Concealer Shade Light Sand– Another product that I swear by. It very thick which is why most people don’t love it, but I love the coverage it provides. I would suggest using a beauty blender to blend it in so that it goes on even.
4. Cream Contour Shade Warm Honey– This is actually a foundation brand, it’s not made to be a contour stick. I got the idea from another blogger using it this way. I knew the product was good quality because I tried it as foundation, for me it wasn’t full enough coverage for my entire face but works great if you go a few shades darker and blend with a beauty blender to get that evened “natural” looking contour look!
5. Nars Blush Shade Dolce Vita – This is a new product that I am trying out. I really like the color but do feel like you have to use a good bit to get a nice rosey cheek, a little doesn’t really go a long way. They shade however is PERFECT so I will probably stick with it!
6. Tarte Highlight Shade Exposed – Speaking of a little going a long way, this highlight I have had for over a year and it still looks brand new because a little defiantly goes a very LONG way. It is great and I love it to give my skin dewy glow.
7. RMCA powder – This is what I used to prime my eye lids. mostly people doesn’t have this problem but my skin is so strange that everything on my face is dry except my eye lids which are super oily. This being said I have trouble with eye make no smearing everywhere by the end of the day. This product does a great job of making my eye make look flawless all day, it’s some of the best $12 I have ever spent.
8. Naked 2 Palette Shades for Eye Shadow: Tease and Snakebite // Shade for bottom Eye Liner: Busted – Another product I swear by, I don’t know if you saw in the IGTV video but the back has fallen off mine and almost every color is use up (so I need to grab another one ASAP) but I loveee that I can use it for eye shadow and also eyeliner. It goes on even and stays all day.
9. Eye Liner Shade Trooper Black– BEST EYE LINER EVER. The End.
10&11 Mascara – I have been working on getting my lashes longer with a serum at night. Mostly because it is sooo tempting to get lash extensions and I feel like I would probably love them, but I can barley keep up with getting my nails done every three weeks or my hair cut, the thought of adding something else just isn’t realistic for me right now. I am open to it but maybe in the future. Both of these mascaras give me a longer lash and don’t clump.
12. Setting Spray – This is optional but I wanted to share because it does wonders for making your making stay in place all day!
Hope this helps
