Ahh I love that little cutie pie! If you saw my post on Instagram you know I went back to work this week. I want to start off by saying I am so so lucky to only have to work two days a week and we have family that is staying with and loving on her while I am at work (which makes it a little easier). Sunday I pretty much as a full cry fest ALL day…. it was out of control. I ended up looking at Andrew and saying I need to take a time out and go get my nails done or something to clear my head. Once I got to the hospital the next day I couldn’t believe how much I built that up. I mean honestly it was such a great day. I mean it helps that I love being a nurse and I love my co workers so very much. She and I got to FaceTime thanks to my mom and the day ended up flying by! When she woke up for her 2 am feed I held her a little closer and snuggled her a little longer. Very thankful I get to spend the day snuggling her!

Now on to the hatch baby scale! To be honest  it has been something we use EVERY day to change her, but the key difference to this changing table is that it can weigh your baby too. It was designed for nursing mothers so they could weigh their babies after they feed to see how much they ate. For us bringing home a 4 pound baby this changing table has been a game changer. We have used the weigh feature every week to track Elle’s weight gain. We literally jump up and down for every single oz that sweet baby gains. It all is from an app that Andrew has on his phone so it is nice and easy to zero and get her weight right before bath time. Walmart sells these for less than $150 and it came come in two days with free two day shipping. I’ll be sure to keep you posted on Elle’s weigh in’s she is gaining like a champ!
