Anyone else ready for the weekend already?

I know we had a four day week but gracious work yesterday was so busy! I was in bed and fast asleep well before 10 without shame haha. But this morning I am up and ready to go, starting with this blog post.  When I purchased this sweater a couple of weeks ago I thought it would stay in stock forever and go on sale in a month or two. But it went on sale the next week and sold out! I am able to link the exact same sweater in blue and then several other options that will all be on sale!

Also lets talk about white after Labor Day, so I did a little research. In the 1894 the women of that Era declared Summer would last from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Then in 1950 a women’s magazine article came out declaring that these months of summer where the only months that white could be worn because it is the color on Summer! Well now it’s 2017 and times have changed, thank goodness. It is now totally acceptable to wear white past Labor Day and Summer in Georgia pretty much last until it is less than 85 degrees all day outside.  I say ladies lets makes the change and see white worn past Labor Day! These women just said and people followed along, I say we just “say” white can be worn past Labor Day and watch change in fashion happen!

^^ The thickness of the knitting on the sweater is what originally caught my eye. I am wearing a size Small and this sweater still has a really over sized and comfortable fit.

^^ I will defiantly be wearing white after Labor Day! It is a great contrast to have with all the Fall colors coming our way.

^^ These shoes though! I have found the exact shoe but in one shade darker to link for you guys. I am obsessed and wear them all the time.

^^ Sorry about the history lesson, but I started to type this post out and literally couldn’t stop thinking why in the world do we not wear white it looks awesome after Labor with sweater and a great color to wear with all the purples and greens of Fall.
