Here is a review of some of my post from last years Nordstrom Sale. Mind you I was not prepared and had never shopped the sale before this one. I wasn’t sure what to expect and knowing to shop the basics was not what I did at first. I really went after fun looks that caught my eye and ended up not getting the most wear out of my purchases. This year I have a different plan, the basics will be my go to and then coming up with ton of ways to style them and share with you! I will be posting all about my dressing room try on’s and then blog post with all that I buy and how I will style them!

1. Velvet peplum – wore got a lot of wear out of this top. I wore it all the way into the Winter with a skirt with jean and with shorts here
2. White dress- to be honest I didn’t get as much wear out of this one. As we transition into Fall this white dress was not something I was super excited to wear. I wanted to start wearing scarfs and hat not white lace dresses anymore. I won’t be buying a white dress this year, it just didn’t get that much wear out of it!
3. Peeptoe Booties- I LOVE these. I have gotten so much wear out of these booties and would say they are a great purchase from the sale, they were less than $100 and the color went with everything.

4. Sweater – I would say this sweater was a must, it has a crisscross back that I was beautiful. You really can’t go wrong with a sweater in the Nordstrom sale, just make sure that it is one that you like and is very comfortable.

5.Romper – This romper has a great pattern that I felt went really well with my green cargo vest and jean jacket. You can always wear rompers with high boots and booties too! I got pretty good wear out of this one.

6. Black jeans – I literally wear these all the time! Jeans during the sale are up to 40% off. A great pair of black jeans are something I wear all the time during the Fall. I can’t say enough about how highly I recommend a great pair of jeans.

7. Purple sweater – This was a simple sweater, I wore this a ton, it went with everything and was a great addition to my wardrobe in the Fall. Lavender became a really popular color around this time all the way into Spring. I really couldn’t recommend a colorful light weight sweater enough, it really transitioned from summer to Fall well.

8.Black jumpsuit- I literally loved this when I got it in the mail, but because of how it fit up top I couldn’t find many ways to wear it that were flattering. I ended up giving it away within a couple of months. I will try to pick more flattering jumpsuits in the sale this year I feel like I know body type and what I am looking for more now.
