I know traveling can be hard- especially to places like Disney. I'm here to simplify that for you!

Happy Friday!
I recently asked a question on Instagram stories about what you all would like to see more of on the blog. A hair tutorial and what to wear to Fall weddings were the overwhelming winners! I have filmed a hair tutorial and it will be on YouTube by the end of this month, and as for what to wear to Fall weddings, here it is! For the next two Fridays I will be sharing with you two great looks that I think are really original outfits that you can mix and match and hopefully get a lot of use out of!
Let’s start with today’s look. When I originally picked up this skirt in the store a women looked at me and said, “Excuse me but what are you going to wear that leveler skirt with?” I said “probably a silk tank of some sort.why?” She said she was asking because she had seen 5 or 6 women come by, pick it up and then put it back looking as if they didn’t know how to style it. I literally thought challenge accepted! Honestly, I kept it pretty simple, sometimes less it more. I mean you’re wear a velvet skirt for goodness sake, you really don’t want your top or shoes to take away from that, you want them to add to the outfit.
^^ I added a fun color in my earrings because I didn’t want to the look to feel to plain. These tassel earrings where a staple for me all Spring and Summer, why not just carry them over into Fall right? These exact earrings are not online anymore so I have included some really great similars at the bottom of this post!
^^ The reason I love this look is because you can really get a lot of wear out of each of the pieces. For example, if you don’t own a black silk tank top, then you really should go grab one! I mean it is literally one of the classic pieces in any wardrobe without costing a fortune and can be worn to any occasion with the right pieces! This one is from Target’s new link and I believe it comes in white too!
^^ Ok Ok this main attraction is here! This velvet skirt is SO CLASSY! It has a great high waist line so it covers up all the right places, but then the little slit in front keeps it young and fun, while also allowing you to cross you legs. Has anyone ever worn a pencil skirt and it is so tight at your knees you can’t even cross you legs? This skirt has the perfect amount of breathing room so you can dance the night away at any wedding!
^^ The shoes I linked are suede but they weer the only option that I could find with the same heel length. I originally bought these shoes two years ago in the Ross of all places. I had to be at wedding in a few hours and was running around town in a full on panic about what shoes to wear. Don’t let that happen to you, buy a classic pair of low heel comfortable black shoes and you will always have a go to shoe for any wedding wardrobe emergency!
Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you liked this wedding guest look, stay tuned next Friday for the second look I have prepared! It is a winner in my book. I am taking it slow this morning with a cup of coffee and still in my Pj’s.
Thank you to KVC Photography for these photos

I enjoyed the braid tutorial that you had on Instagram stories a while back and I was hoping you would consider another tutorial! I absolutely love how you have your hair curled in so many of your pictures (like the ones above) and I was wondering if you could post a tutorial on your routine for that look! My hair is thin and straight so I need all the advice I can get… Also, I’m getting married in May (!!!) so if you have any advice about planning a wedding that could be another post idea. Just a suggestion! 🙂
Thank you for being such a sweet inspiration every day! I so admire your talent and passion and your love for the Lord.
