I’ve not been a Mom long but from what I can tell the entire thing is trial and error. It is all about figuring what works for your baby and when you find that you stick to it! Every single one of these products are some of our most used baby products, except the little purse, that I would like to get her for Christmas. I am going to go through a few of our favorites and say why we love them. You can get each item at Walmart and a few of them are next day eligible.

Bottle – With Elle being only 4 pounds we needed a bottle that came with multiple nipple sizes. These were great for her and then we enjoyed that they did not have a ton of different parts for us to clean.

Play Mat – Best gift you can get someone, Elle spends 80% of her day on this thing and LOVES it!

Bottle Cleaner

Bottle Cleaner – This is one of the more expensive pieces that to some may seem a little silly when you can just boil each piece in a pot of water. But to be honest, we had some gift card and I it sterilizes your bottles and dried them in as little as 30 minutes. To me (just where I am in life) saving time is worth everything. I mean literally I know we are all busy and if something can allow you to spend and hour more playing with your baby rather than boiling and drying pump parts then it is worth it to me! We have LOVED this and used it for bottle, nipples, and pump parts!

Foam Mat Piece

Foam mat pieces–  Now that Elle is moving all over the place we had to move our play mat. I had it over by the coffee table. One day I went to get laundry out of the dryer and bring it over to her so I could sit and fold it while she played. Next thing I hear her screaming, I came running out and she had her little forehead under the coffee table. Cue ALL THE TEARS. I literally cried so much, I felt like the biggest idiot for putting the mat by the table and for letting her out of my site. Needless to say that is why I started this post with saying parenthood is trial and error. Also why I love the mat, we moved it behind the couch and now we can make her play area anywhere we want!

Sound Machine

Sound Machine –  Based on what I read in MOC we have been using the sound machine for every nap and while she sleeps at night. Honestly she really does know the second that thing comes on that it is time to sleep. I had originally registered for another one, but a friend advised me that this one was the best you can buy and it was cheaper! We have really loved it!
