Family

Happy Monday Girlfriends!
Today is all about getting life back together! If you read my previous blog post then you know last week was a little stressful after having a very close family member go into surgery. It was full of prayer, trusting the Lord, coming together as a family and eat my emotions till I couldn’t see straight lol…… but seriously! Praises because everything has come back clean and our family member is healthy and happy, God is so good!
Now on to today’s blog post, if you have Spring weddings coming out of your ears like we usually do then this dress is for you! First of all it is less than $100. You can’t even rent a dress from Rent the Runway for cheaper than that & you get to keep this one.
^^ I am a huge fan of lace. My entire wedding dress was lace, and my eyes have always just been so drawn to it. If lace isn’t your thing that’s totally ok, but I would still say to give this dress a chance for the sake of how comfortable it is! Because of the way it lays it isn’t a dress that you will be worried about your figure in. I am all for a dress that just flows right over me and doesn’t make me nervous I am going to bust the zipper when I dance because it is so tight!
^^ The high pony is just a fun way to change up your hair for the night, it feels a little more formal, but really no one needs to know you haven’t washed your hair in 5 days and a high pony was the very least you could do besides actually washing your hair! If you are on the hunt for dry shampoo then the one I linked at the top of this post is for you! My only advice is a little goes a very long way!
^^ I got these earrings last year and was worried I wouldn’t be able to find a similar pair. Well you ladies are in luck, I found them in several colors, one of which is light pink which I also think would look great with this blue dress.
^^ I am wearing a small here and I would say I could have gotten a size XS. If you read the reviews on the website it is very clear that this dress runs large and you should definatly size down one, esp if you are smaller in the chest!
^^ I feel like this clutch adds the perfect touch of edge to this dress. It has the chain bordering the suede and the color can pretty much go with everything. If you are looking for a purse that you could wear year round this one is a keeper. It also comes in black and can be worn crossbody. It is less than $50 and ships for free too!
^^ If you are wearing this dress to a more formal wedding you could wear more formal heels too. I have linked so really nice ones that I would also wear with this dress to dress it up a bit. The reason I chose these shoes it because for many Spring weddings in the South, we pretty much always have some part of the wedding outside to we can enjoy the pretty weather. This block heel would be much better for walking through grass than a high pointy heel that will probably get suck int he grass with every step you take. I wore these to show another show option that is still dressy but a little more practical for outdoor weddings.
Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you have a great day!
