1. What is The Reward Style Conference

As many of you saw there was a conference this weekend and probably wondered what the heck was going on. Basically, RewardStyle is the umbrella term of the company that you know as LiketoKnowit. They are the parent company of all of this. We all use LiketoKnowit, which is an APP that RewardStyle made to allow you all to shop outfits that I link into the post. The conference is held asa yearly get together, to essentially review everything from the previous year, see where we are going in the future, and discuss individually with brands where we see our personal brand heading.

 

2. Why did I go ?

I went for two main reasons. The first was networking.  In the blogging industry is it hard to make PERSONAL connections. I can connect with people all day over social media or via emails, but to put faces with names is a game changer.

The second reason I went was because there are many brands represented there that I got to give my Media Kit to and discuss a future of collaborating together. These are connections that I have either been trying to make or are on my goal list fo this year and a conference like this was a way to help me move forward with those goals.

The final thing about the conference that was a reason I went was to make new friends! Who doesn’t love having new girlfriends in their life…..I know I do! I wanted to hug these sweet girls that I message on the daily and tell them how much I love their pages and appreciate their support on mine.
