Hey guys!

I hope you all are had an amazing day. As some of you know we are going to the beach soon and I am thrilled. It’s my favorite place in the whole world. I plan to take my favorite beach bag of all time, it was an after season steal from Target a few years ago. I think I found it in October on sale for $15. The key to a good beach bag is that it is HUGE! It has to be big enough to shove all your stuff in and still look adorable. I decided I wasn’t ready to part with my awesome beach bag but that it could use a little love. After roaming Pinterest for a few hours looking for some creative inspiration I noticed I kept saving bags with these pom poms on them. So I decided to learn how to make some!

^^ So you actually don’t need the big needle from everything I read I thought I might. I had already taken the picture and then ripped open the yarn after so this will have to do !

What you need is: Yarn, a Pom Pom Maker & Scissors….that’s it can you believe how easy!

^^ This Pom Pom maker came with great reviews and was SUPER easy to use. It’s only $8 and comes with two different sizes.

^^ So you start by wrapping one side with a yarn of your color choice. Don’t be scared to wrap the yarn quite a few times around, it should be pretty thick before you fold the first side over.

^^ Wrap the other side then click the whole Pom Pom maker together.

^^ Cut the string down the middle on both sides, and then use another piece of string to tie a tight knot around the entire circle through the center. This was the part I kept messing up. I wasn’t tying the string as tight as I possibly could. By the end I was tying VERY tight and double knotting each time.

^^ Pull apart the Pom Pom maker and there you have it. Now are you are free to make different sizes and put together as many different color combinations as you want!

^^This is how I chose to arrange my poms on my bag, I was so pleased with how it turned out. It’s super cute and I love the pink flare that it added to my beach bag. I’ll be talking about what’s in my beach bag soon so stay tuned.
