Happy Memorial Day! I am truly SO THANKFUL for all those who have served and have made a way for our Freedom. What a blessing for us all. I love getting to celebrate this day with family. Andrew and I did some yard work and then planned to head to the pool, but a storm rolled in right as we started cleaning things up. So we headed inside for some rest and online shopping.

1, What’s New

Today we added some flowers to our sweet yard! I want our home to not only we welcoming on the inside but on the outside as well! Andrew and I went to bed and did not set one alarm to wake up this morning (insert PRAISE HANDS)! It felt so good to get some much needed rest. We knew it would be warm so we went straight to Home Depot and gathered all the supplies for today. We worked for about 4 hours and then the rain rolled in just in time for us to run inside!

2. Staple Item of the Week

^^ First of all , notice those chill bumps on my legs? LOL It was freezing when we took these pictures and wet and raining. Any ways, for this staple items category I really am trying to tell you an item that is less than $200 each week that I think is worth investing in! These wedges are amazing, they are a dupes and come at a great price.  They are Steve Madden and come in three different colors. I have several girlfriends who have borrowed them and have loved them so much they went to buy their own pair. I am not kidding when I say they go with everything!

3. Item of the week

^^ Ok seriously THIS suit!!! I have been eyeing the red gingham forever.  The most I have seen it on sale for was $80. I just happened to go online today and saw it was on sale. I thought there was no way they would further discount this suit by 30%. When I entered the code “SWIM” it was price was 48! I purchased it instantly. I usually size up in one pieces so I went for a 6 when in shorts I normally wear a 4. It should arrive by June 6th which is perfect for our upcoming beach trip!
