Hey Ladies!
So I am going to be honest, we leave for New York tomorrow and I am so excited I can HARDLY stand it! I have more to do on my to do list than there are hours in today but I am determined I will make it happen! I wanted to share this post with you all today because I will be doing a lot of layering while we travel. When you layer items together it allows you to pack less and wear things multiple times in totally different ways! Sine I have both packing and layering on the brain I decided this post was perfect for today!
^^ Lets say you are going on a trip and you pack this outfit! Well if you wear this dress sweater combo then it’s a great look for dinner out. However, if you pack a pair of jeans you can wear these same boots and this same sweater and get another look but only packing one more item. Then to top it off, if you add a light jean jacket you can wear these boots with this dress and the jacket and get a second look all my packing a jacket. I try to think like that when I am packing for trips. Not packing outfit by outfit, but how can I layer things so that I get the most looks while packing the least amount of items.
^^ The knotted sweater has been a HUGE trend for this season. I get a lot of questions about if this will ruin the integrity of the sweater. I haven’t had this issue, I usually just wash them and let then air dry and if I think it needs a little extra love I’ll pop it in the dryer for a few minutes prior to wearing!
^^ I am obsessed with these earrings, I am bringing them to NYC and can’t wait to wear them!
