I am so excited to be partnering with Wallblush to bring you guys this laundry room makeover reveal. First off, I should start by saying I am by no means a DIY expert. But I am so happy how this project turned out! It truly is amazing what a little paint and a fun pop of wallpaper can do.

When I began dreaming up how I wanted this space to look I knew it needed two things. The first being color and the second being functionality. Before this space was completely under utilized. It has zero storage and the walls were a drab beige color. To be honest, this room was bringing me zero joy. Which is exactly why I opted for a fun blue and white color pallet. It felt fresh and fun, just what this room needed.
We began with painting the entire room white. From there we placed the Wallblush wallpaper in no time. Originally we purchased white shelves but they felt invisible against the white wall, so I decided to paint them a bold blue to match the wall paper. Now every time I walk by this room I smile a little!
Finally, the fun part-shelf styling! I started hoarding cute jars and odds and ends like this pretty glass jar and this cute canister to place on the open shelves. But at the end of the day I still wanted them to be functional. They allow us to have a place to store things like extra towels, laundry detergent and the extra sock that never seems to have a mate.
Another favorite of mine is this acrylic calendar. As a family we live by this calendar. Plus it’s a huge added bonus that it’s customizable and let’s face it, gorgeous. This would also look amazing in a home office or ever a kitchen!
