I know traveling can be hard- especially to places like Disney. I'm here to simplify that for you!
Family
Welcome to my world of style, sunshine, and adventure! I'm thrilled to share my passions, experiences, and fashion finds with you all. As a happily married mom of two with a background in nursing, my life is a beautiful blend of family, career, and selfcare.
It’s FriYAY!!! So this week was a great week at work but I am excited for the weekend and to spend some quality time with my best friends (aka my mom and hubs). My little brother, who is the best guy ever, gets married in March! It’s been really cool to watch him grow into this dapper man who loves golf and all things fancy. I just adore him more than I could ever tell you. All that to say Mom and I are headed to Macon to check out all the florals and catering for the rehearsal dinner. Its’s going to be in March which is just going to start Spring off with so much love and happiness. If your sibling isn’t getting married in March another thing that will start your Spring off with an equal amount of happiness would be wearing velvet non stop!
^^ So velvet typically has this bad rap of being a very thick fabric that you can only really wear in the Winter. Wrong. The truth is if you style it right you can transition tops like this and many others into Spring. Velvet tanks are also becoming a HUGE trend, I linked my favorite one from target below. It’s affordable and comes in two colors.
^^Ok, so lets talk about Spring basics, skinny jeans, booties (or wedges) and cute light weight tops. Well velvet just feels like a thick fabric it doesn’t actually make you break a sweat. Therefore allowing it to be the most perfect Spring top that gives every outfit a ton of character. Anyone can wear a pink stripped tee (which are also fab), but it takes some confidence and style to take such a bold fabric into warmer months. I say go for it. Embrace a trend that was huge this Fall and Winter and enjoy styling some great pieces with all of your Spring bottoms and shoes. I don’t know about you but I invested a lot of money into all things velvet over the colder months and I am just not quite ready to let these beautiful pieces go!
Thank you to Minoo Bassery for taking these photos
