I know traveling can be hard- especially to places like Disney. I'm here to simplify that for you!
Family
Welcome to my world of style, sunshine, and adventure! I'm thrilled to share my passions, experiences, and fashion finds with you all. As a happily married mom of two with a background in nursing, my life is a beautiful blend of family, career, and selfcare.
Happy Friday loves! I am so pumped for this post I love mixing patterns but sometimes I hold back because I’m worried it will look too busy. When mixing patterns I have found that stripes are a safe place to start , then add your floral, cheetah or polka dot pattern! I am super bummed that this floral dress is sold out online but the good news is they have it is a black floral pattern that would look great with blue or pink striped shirts.
^^ My favorite part of this skirt is that it is a twirly! Not sure if that is a real word but you get the picture. I don’t really enjoy wearing pencil skirts, my main focus when I am wear a skirt is that it fits on my hips, in case I wanted to tuck my top in, and that it is a good length. Having no need to ever wear business casual (I am a nurse and we wear scrubs) I am always on the look out for a fun and playful skirt option.
^^ So this top is GREAT quality, esp for the price. I have a similar one in pink from H&M (that I love) but it is super thin. This shirt didn’t require me to wear a tank top underneath, but was cool enough for the summer that I brought it to the beach one night! It has a great structure and will defiantly be carried over into the Fall.
^^ Ok so I am super sorry that this skirt is sold out, but the good news is it comes in a dress, shorts and pants option in the same pattern. The closest option to this exact look would be to buy the dress and tie the shirt in a knot at the bottom. I also think if you are a mom who is running around a lot, a skirt is not as appealing to you, short and pants in this pattern would look amazing. Some concern I hear with patterned bottoms is that your legs will look wide or the pattern will be unflattering. However, I see this mostly with checked or a plaid bottoms. I feel personally this floral bottom would be ok to wear in other styles and wouldn’t draw negative attention to anyone’s legs or backsides LOL.
^^ Just a friendly reminder that if you use the code “Simplydarlingsxoxo” you get your first month of Rocksbox for FREE! Than it is only $21 after that. What a great deal and such a fun treat every month!
^^ My love for these shoes run so deep that I have them in this nude color and also in blue. The biggest question I have received is asking if they are comfortable. I would say absolutely! I have worn them to weddings, wedding showers, church ect. and never had an issue (which is why I bought them in a second color).
I hope you have the best Friday and if you are in GA, stay dry friends. I am so thankful for rain, but gracious I am sooo looking forward to the sweet sunshine.
Thank you KVC Photography for these photos
xoxo
