Praise Hands for the Weekend!!

Even though I had to work Friday and Sunday off, this Saturday to catch up on life and enjoy the day has been sweet! The main goal of today is redoing all of our kitchen chairs and it is a project that has completely snowballed into a project that’s taken forever! I really am ready to wrap it all up.  I hope to wake up late, got breakfast at our favorite spot in town, watched some football and then get serious about sanding these stinking chairs. Good grief it is time!

As I told you all last week I was doing two Friday’s post on outfits that make great Fall wedding guest looks! This dress is GORG, it comes in multiple colors, but this one was my absolute favorite. Ya’ll know I love a good midi length, but this one has a slit in it to give it a classier appeal. What I did that I thought help set this look apart and make it feel original was I added a pop of color via a shawl. The secret is……. this is actually a nice scarf! Two uses out of one article of clothing I am all about that.

^^ Some people shy away from this neckline because it is so different, I say go for it! You can always put the scarf up over your shoulders and wrap it around yourself if you get cold.

^^ I kept my jelwery simple, but you could definaltly add a huge chunky necklace too.

^^ This dress almost has a shimmer undertone to it, and so it glides with you as you walk into a room! I felt so classy and comfortable when I wore this dress last. It was actually to a baby shower, but I wore it with some different shoes to dress it down just a little. It worked perfectly, and now I can have a dress that I can easily transition easy to wear to a wedding or event this Fall!
