I know traveling can be hard- especially to places like Disney. I'm here to simplify that for you!
Family
Welcome to my world of style, sunshine, and adventure! I'm thrilled to share my passions, experiences, and fashion finds with you all. As a happily married mom of two with a background in nursing, my life is a beautiful blend of family, career, and selfcare.
Hey Hey Hey!
We are so close to the weekend I almost can’t take it. I really can’t wait, my goal is to finally finish all Florida laundry and clean my house. Anyone else love a good clean house? ME! The weather here has also been so wonderful cool crisp mornings and nights which means we can finally break out these amazing Fall clothes we have been dying to wear! Starting with this suede skirt and clutch combo for the win.
The cheetah trend is roaring right now (haha)…..but seriously it’s all the rage. I try to keep everything on my blog under $200 and these shoes barely make the cut. Although they are quite a splurge, I have already found myself wearing them once a week. Take this outfit for example. I chose to take a solid white Henley Tee and a solid, grey suede skirt that I will be able to get a lot of wear out individually and spice up the entire look with these booties. I wore these booties on the streets of New York for fashion week and was so comfortable because of the block heel. They run true to size and I have also linked a shorter heel bootie and flat cheetah shoe option in case these aren’t your style. I will share some of the ways I have styled them on my stories today. Stay tuned because they are going to be on repeat this fall!
As I mentioned before, this Henley Tee is one to plan to wear a lot this season. It’s less than $40 and comes in nine colors. If you don’t take my word for it, there are almost 400 reviews giving it 4 stars on Nordstrom.com. Hitting right below my hips, makes this tee perfect for layering with sweaters as well. As I shared in stories a couple of days ago, whenever you’re wearing leggings and want to wear it with a sweater, but need to add some extra length to cover your booty, having a tee like this in your closet can really be stretched and worn in every season. Here I am wearing a small and it runs true to size. However, if your main goal is layering and adding length you can always size up one.
The final trend for fall that never goes out of stye is suede. I look forward to wearing it every year. This skirt was part of the Nordstrom sale and sold out in the first day. Although it’s no longer on sale, it’s high quality and versatile color make it a staple in your closet. It is high waisted, does a great job of keeping you tucked in, and hits above the knee. This will be great as the temperature starts to cool down, because not only can you wear this skirt with booties, but also tall over the knee boots. I would recommend ordering the same size as your pant size. I am wearing a 27 here, which is equivalent to a size 4. It runs true to size and although high waisted, I still have room at the top for tucking shirts in for a professional look. I chose the grey, but it also comes in a tan.
Thank you to Nordstrom for sponsoring today’s post. As always, all opinions are my own.
