I know traveling can be hard- especially to places like Disney. I'm here to simplify that for you!
Family
Welcome to my world of style, sunshine, and adventure! I'm thrilled to share my passions, experiences, and fashion finds with you all. As a happily married mom of two with a background in nursing, my life is a beautiful blend of family, career, and selfcare.
You all know I’ve been on a fall decorating kick lately. I recently updated my fall entryway. Now I’ve moved on to the rest of the house. One of my favorite brands to find seasonal decor at is Mudpie. It also doubles as my favorite place to find gifts for just about everyone in my life. I love incorporating these pieces into gift baskets for hostess, teachers, or showers. Don’t even get me started on the baby and little girl clothes that they have too. Truly, they have some of the sweetest baby outfits. They are the ones that you’ll end up boxing up and keeping long after your little ones have grown out of them.

Some of my favorite pieces this fall are these gorgeous serving dishes. I can see my family (of 4-wow that’s crazy) eating off of these for years to come. They also have some of the most gorgeous charcuterie boards. In my opinion, you truly cannot have too many. This specific one has a marble insert that you can put in the fridge to help keep cheeses cool! I love this option because it always you to prep food for a dinner party, store it in the fridge, and bring it out once your guests arrive!
I choose two cheeses for this board: brie and sharp cheddar. I used various meats such as salami, pepperoni, and prosciutto. A great tip is to use a wine glass and place your meat around the rim to create a rose for your board! I have found that salami or pepperoni work best. For color on the board, I added a variety of fruits from dark grapes, raspberries, and dried apricots. Fig jam was the perfect addition to the brie and came in a cute jar that I used later in my decor. Add in a small white pumpkin and some greenery for the perfect fall charcuterie board!
This was one of those things that as I was making I could not wait to eat! The base of the salad is a kale and cabbage mix with additional kale added. I added craisins, dried apricots, apples, and oven roasted sweet potatoes. To make the oven roasted sweet potatoes you cube the sweet potato, place on a baking sheet with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Then roast in oven at 400 degrees for 35-40 min. To finish the salad, toss in dressing of your choice. I opted for a organic balsamic vinaigrette!
I truly love shopping mudpie for all seasons of my life. You can use code:darlings for 20% off any purchase on Mudpie. Make sure to read about all my grilling essentials from Mudpie here!
