I am no expert on pregnancy or ways to style your bump. I can say I have found some tips and tricks over my last two pregnancies that helped me, and can hopefully help you. Especially with my second baby, comfort was key. I also wanted to get pieces I could keep and wear postpartum as well. This made me gravitate towards body con dresses, body con skirts, flowing tops, and athletic wear. I wanted to consolidate all of my maternity wear in one easy place for you guys! I also wanted to make sure I shared pieces with you guys that are in stock. All of these items are stocked and would be great transition pieces for Spring. Hopefully this is a good resource for easy maternity style for you to reference! My favorite maternity store is probably Pink Blush, but I mostly bought non maternity clothes & sized up!
Easy Maternity Style
Easy Maternity Dresses
- Body con Dresses- These were for sure my go to this pregnancy. Whether styled by themselves, with a graphic t-shirt or with a sweater over it- I always felt comfortable and confident in them.
2. Amazon Dresses- I love all of these dresses because they are so comfortable. To add to it, because they are Amazon, they are affordable! I have worn all of these dresses while pregnant and not. They are all great Spring ready options as well!
3. Flowy Dresses- These three dresses I have been dying to get restocked and they are! I wore both of the floral dresses during special life events and they are still some of my favorite pieces.
4. Wedding Guest Dress/ Formal Dresses- I had to go to a formal wedding while very pregnant last year. It was not the easiest thing finding a dress that worked with the bump. I did the hard work to hopefully make things easier on you! Here are six of my favorite- I chose the first to wear to the wedding.
Easy Maternity Swimwear
I am usually a high waisted two piece type girl. However, the most comfortable thing with the bump for me personally is low bottoms that sit below the waist! Pair it with a cute top and you are set for the pool or beach! This one piece from American Eagle was so comfortable while pregnant. I also recently took it to Mexico and I loved it just as much then!
Easy Maternity Comfortable Tops
Comfy & flowy are two MUSTS when it comes to tops while pregnant. I pair them with either leggings (spanx or workout) and maternity jeans. These are two key wardrobe staples to help me get through cooler months while being pregnant.
I hope this is somewhat helpful for you when styling outfits while pregnant. Honestly, it comes down to whatever you are comfortable and confident in! Make sure to read about Jade’s birth story here!
