I know traveling can be hard- especially to places like Disney. I'm here to simplify that for you!
Family
Welcome to my world of style, sunshine, and adventure! I'm thrilled to share my passions, experiences, and fashion finds with you all. As a happily married mom of two with a background in nursing, my life is a beautiful blend of family, career, and selfcare.
Hey ladies!
I can’t wait to get back into a blogging routine and posting consistently, I got a little behind with the holidays, but now I am ready to roll and back on schedule. Lets kick off the week talking about a few things. First I’ll be sharing my New Year’s goals with you all and the second is the cozy scarf.
Like most people I usually make a resolution and then by March I am wayyy over it. It also is normally about eating cleaner, working out more ect. However, this year I am changing up the game, if I can be honest it has been blogging here with y’all that has really made me realize a few things. You have to set measureable goals, say them out loud to people and there must be some accountability in goals. For example if I get a lot of questions about lip stick and then I come on stories and tell all of you I am going to do a whole post about this lip stick and then I never do it, I loose credibility and let you guys down if it was a post you actually wanted information on, loose loose. When I tell you guys I am going to do something I try to be on it and do it right away because I want to be dependable and creditable. So I took this concept and really tried to apply it to myself. I need to be creditable to myself and not make goals that I subconsciously know I will be quitting in a few months.
^^ Here is my plan for changing up the game, I am going to make a new goal every single month and stick to it. I did some research and read that it takes 21 days to make a habit and then if a habit is deep rooted it takes 66 days to really break a bad habit. Therefore I feel like if I am able to do something for a month (which is obviously more than 21 days) I will have created a habit and then have a better chance at sticking to it! Hopefully it then would be a feel rooted habit that will be harder to break in the months to come. My goal for January is to do spend time with Jesus every.single.day! I am not planning out the goals in advance so I am not sure what February holds for me but January is doing my quiet time every single day and I am loving it.
^^ Lets talk about this scarf! So the Free People scarfs have been SO popular. I actually have one and am planning to do a compare and contrast on Instagram stories for y’all tomorrow. This is a really great similar option, it is affordable, and just a cozy I can guarantee that! This scarf is from Red Dress Boutique which offers a really wide variety of styles and clothing options to fit everyones different styles. Originally this scarf was $26 and is now 30% off for $18, and with these freezing temps we have been having I am so thankful for the extra layers, I will take them all!
^^ This sweater was one of the ones I took to New York, it was really great in the colder temps we experienced there. It is really soft and has a great stretch material to it that allows for putting it in little side knots or front tucks. It is currently marked down $20 because it is…………70% off No Code Needed!!!! What a steal! There is an entire section on my blog dedicated to the Loft sale that is happening right now. They are having incredible discounts on their tops and sweater for the after Christmas sale.
^^ My boots were also taken to New York, I work them all over the city and didn’t;t get one blister the whole time. I did get blister from wearing heels to Top of the Rock (what was I thinking), but nothing from these! They are on sale now for 30% off with code JOY30. They comes in three colors, black, and grey. I actually am hoping to get all three, they are that good!
Thank you so much for stopping by it means so much that you take the time to read these post, I am truly so thankful.
