Hey ladies and Happy Friday!
This post has been a long time coming! Life got crazy once we got back from the beach, and trying to gear up for the Holidays! Before we get into full swing all Holiday content I wanted to give you a full review of our stay at Chateau Elan.
We went for my Mom’s 60th Birthday present and it was THE VESY BEST! She already is planning our next visit….I am not even kidding. We arrived in the evening. They have valet parking or free parking, we chose the free and it was right next to the building not a far walk at all!
Once we got all checked in, we had the sweetest room, complete with bathrobes, a huge tub and fabulous fabric headboards. We dressed for dinner at the Versailles. We ordered EVERYTHING! The cheese plate was incredible, followed by salads, I had the pasta and wine of course! My sister in law had the duck and loved it and Mom enjoyed a steak.
We all shared Creme Brûlée and coffee and were the last people in the restaurant. The service was amazing, they were so kind and waited on us like we were Queens, which is exactly how I wanted my Mom to feel for her birthday!
That night we got in bathrobes and just enjoyed the evening in our rooms, it was so perfect.
The next morning we woke up and had breakfast again in Versailles. They had a SPREAD, I definitely had my favorite, biscuits and gravy, but they had everything. After, we headed to the Spa, which was actually my favorite part of the weekend.
The entire environment of the Spa is Heavenly. You walk in and there was a fire, surrounded by cozy couches. When we left and saw two women were sitting by the first in robes just drinking Rose, like what in the world?! I would say to get there at least 30 minutes early. We didn’t really realize this until we got there, but you don’t have to stay on site to enjoy a FULL day at the Spa. For any Spa package you buy (facial, massage, scrub etc.) you are then able to enjoy a ENTIRE day at the Spa. You can do the sauna, steam room, have a drink by the fire, enjoy tea and lunch at 2 pm. The entire day can be such a treat! This is why we are already ready to go back. We planned to get massages and then hit the road! We didn’t fully grasp the whole “day at the spa” concept. Don’t worry we don’t be making that mistake again!
We each got massages and it was the perfect ending to the weekend. Mom’s was 80 minutes and at first she thought it would be wayyy to long and was a little nervous. She ended up loving and said it was the prefect amount of time! We can’t wait to go back, it was such a treat and the most amazing experience!
Thank you for having us Chateau Elan!
As always all opinions are my own. If you are planning a special day for someone you love, I would definitely look into Chateau Elan!
