Hi Friends!

Sorry it has been a minute since I last wrote on my blog! If you have followed along on Instagram then you know my husband and I (along with another couple) just got back from the Dominican Republic. It was the most amazing trip and we had such a great time. I am doing a blog post later this week to recap our stay and do a mini review of the entire place! For today’s post however, I am taking you all back a couple of weekends ago when my precious mom and I went on a little shopping adventure to Lenox Square. The deal they offered was for every $100 spent you received a $10 gift card! YAY! My mom is a chemistry teacher,who was also named TEACHER OF THE YEAR this past year, so who better to bring along the weekend before she heads back to school than mom! That way she could grab some great back to school finds and I could shop some killer sales!

Lenox Square has some seriously SO many amazing stores over 250 to be exact!  Prior to going in, mom and I made a list of our favorite stores and what we were hoping to purchase while inside. Mom’s favorite store is LOFT. It is the perfect blend of professional yet still allows for women to style themselves in a way that is fun authentic to them. We also couldn’t leave without hitting up Anthropology, William Sonoma and Brooks Brothers (it also happened to be my Dad’s birthday weekend), so we wanted to snag him a present.

Below are my three favorite purchases from our day!

^^ This grey sweater from Loft is 50% off and also was on sale the day I purchased it too! Only $27 for a Loft Fall sweater YES PLEASE! It is so cozy, fit’s true to size and is a great neutral color. I couldn’t believe the price tag and for me this was an instant WIN! I have already worn it with shorts and layered over a dress. In my opinion it’s a great purchase. ^^ My second purchase also came from Loft. I feel like Lou and Grey rarley goes on sale. So the second I saw this cutie little piece was discounted 40% I knew I would be able to style it in a number of ways! It is quite possibly the softest top that I have ever owned. I sized up by one so that the back would be a little long to cover my booty when wearing with leggings LOL Use code OHYES at checkout for the discount.

^^ With all the great sale pieces we found I was able to splurge a little bit with this beauty. I knew that I had a trip for the DR planned and really wanted to have a special dress that I wore while we were there!  The second that I layed my eyes on this dress I knew that it was coming home with me.  It fits TTS and is lined which is always a plus in my book. I truly don’t feel like I will ever find a dress this unique and with this must charater again so I just went for it!

I am going to try to snag some photos of my mom in her dress too and share them on Instagram stories later this week! She is darling!

After what we kept calling our “day of fun” we ate at True Food Kitchen and it was the sweetst ending to such a great day. We split a salad and a pizza and left so happy and full. The best thing about Lenox Square is it literally has everything. The best resturants, amazing shops and perfect location! Thanks so much for stopping by!
