If you’re looking for the perfect beach getaway with your best girl friend, Miramar Beach, Florida, is the place to be. With its sugar-white sand, emerald-green waters, and an incredible food scene, this charming destination offers everything you need for a memorable trip. What we loved most was the proximity to Rosemary beach, Alyse Beach, and Seaside. We used Gulf Style Rentals who connected us with an amazing condo to stay in literally across the street from the beach. We loved going in March & felt like it was the perfect time to go.

Restaurants Near Miramar Beach

The highlight of any trip to the beach trip is, of course, the beach itself. But let’s not forget one of our favorite aspects of any trip… the FOOD! Below you’ll find some of our favorite restaurants we went to & some notable mentions we wish we made it to!

• Fonville Press- Has amazing coffee, cocktails, and small bites. We went here for lunch & got the frozen espresso martini, Caesar salad, and pizza. Can I get a “girls lunch?!”

• Oku Sushi- We both LOVED this restaurants. The spoon dish and fried rice app, along with our sushi rolls we ordered were SO GOOD!

• Nigel Banana’s- These are frozen bananas dipped in chocolate and then rolled in toppings. I wish they had one close to me because I would be there WEEKLY. A fun treat that the entire family would enjoy.

• Black Bear Coffee- This was our next breakfast spot & we were both so impressed . We split a fancy toast with banana and honey drizzle and then a classic eggs and bacon.

• Airstreams in Seaside- If you have ever been to Seaside you have seen the airstreams and the cute shops and restaurants right in downtown. There is so many good spots and options to eat here. Jamie & I split a panini and fried pickles and you literally sit right on the beach and enjoy lunch!
• Bistrology- If you are wanting an experience with A LOT of food, this is for you. Jamie got a (non-alcoholic) lavender mimosa, and they have this massive amazing coffees that will blow your mind! We shared an egg scramble and these pancakes only described as from the Lord. The portions here are HUGE so share or be prepared for leftovers.

• The Edge Sky Bar- We did not originally plan to eat here, but it worked location wise for us. It was a classic beach dinner, but honestly the highlight of the show were the oysters. They had live music & it was a vibe for after a long day.
• Bad Ass Coffee- Coffee from Hawaii and a perfect pick me up for the afternoon!!

• Honorable Mentions
• Old Florida Fish House- Jamie has eaten here & loved it , but we ran out of time. It is an outdoor restaurant that has amazing seafood and sushi. Next time if you have a special occasion or even want a nice date night out this sounds like a great spot.
• George’s- This is a vibe in Alys beach and one that is on my list for next time.
• Raw & Juicy- Located in Alys Beach we have been here before but didn’t have time this time to go. They have amazing acai bowls!
• Parkour Donuts- The outside looks amazing & their instagram about sold me. There just isn’t enough time in the day for all the food.
• Pink Coyote Ice Cream- Another place Jamie has been but we didn’t get a chance to go to!
• Azul- For tacos and a upscale Mexican , I would check this place out!

Beach Trip Activities

Beyond the beach, Miramar Beach offers a variety of unique and fun activities for visitors. If you’re a foodie, consider taking a pasta-making class at one of the local cooking schools—learning to make fresh, homemade pasta is a fun and delicious experience! We took our class at Palm Folly with eliana_theitaliana and she was AMAZING. We made fettuccini and gnocchi and then got to sit & eat it!

For those who love wildlife or even just want a good time, a dolphin cruise is a must. Seeing dolphins play in their natural habitat while cruising along the beautiful coastline is a magical experience. The boat also included wine & beer and lots of music and fun! We had the best time and met some new friends along the way.

If you’re in the mood for something different, check out a high-tech golf simulator, where you can play some of the world’s best courses without leaving the comfort of an air-conditioned space. We went to BirdieA and they have a lot of bays with a bar that you can get beer or wine at. This is a great option for a rainy day or if you need to send your husbands away while you shop!

We loved walking 30a and shopping on the beach! This is the cute little city with the post office that we have all seen on instagram & it never disappoints. If you are looking for the “seaside” sweatshirt you see all the time- this is where you would buy it! One thing we did and loved was getting permanent jewelry at Lala Links. It is right on the main strip of 30a and such a fun thing to do with your girlfriend. Jamie & I both got necklaces, the staff was amazing, and we would highly recommend!

We loved the proximity of the location to all the different areas with food and entertainment options. There are multiple shopping malls including outlet malls that you can go to on a rainy day! Whether you’re looking for adventure, relaxation, or a mix of both, Miramar Beach is the ultimate destination for a girls’ getaway.
