Such a powerful story of God’s provision! My twins were also born 5 weeks early weighing 4.2 and 4.4 lbs. I had a very difficult pregnancy and reading your story took me back to that time in my life. But just as in your story, God sent people to care for me and love on us. They are 23 now! All the best! She’s beautiful! 💕

  2. Jennifer says:

This post had me balling! Thank God you and Eloise are both safe! What a testament of Gods faithfulness. Thank you for sharing.

  3. Michelle cahan says:

Having a baby is one of the absolute scariest and most rewarding things we do as women!!! It’s amazing how much we love these little beans the second we hear that heart beat and even before that. So glad sweet Eloise is healthy and perfect!!!

  4. Cheryl says:

I loved reading your story…your strength was passed on to sweet Eloise and you now have your precious baby girl to love forever! Since your a nurse at CHOA you must know my beautiful friends who are also nurses there…Shelia Vahey and Lisa Hamrock! I discovered what true angels on earth were when all 3 of my children were born and brought straight to the NICU! My children were all born in 3 different states and sadly no one ever figured out why they had the problems they had a birth! Because of many prayers my children are now young adults and have lived a healthy life so far! I live following and your beautiful family…I will continue to pray for you all! ❤️

    • simplydarlings says:

Oh my goodness! Shelia is one of my all time favorite humans. I love her so much! Thank you so much for your sweet words about the post.

  6. Kayci says:

God bless you and your beautiful family. I too have had my share of low amniotic fluid scares/scans and had to be induced. My son ended up being born with his cord wrapped around his neck which was also terribly frightening. I am so glad that GOD was on your side and pray that your baby girl continues to grow happy and healthy. Thank you for sharing this incredible story! While it brought tears to my eyes, your faith is what will inspire any one who reads it.

    • simplydarlings says:

Ahh I am so glad your son is ok too. I am so sorry for what y’all went through. Thank you so much for your sweet words on this post!

You are such an encouragement to watch and I wish we could be best friends in real life! 😍 Thank you for sharing more than just clothes and makeup, because there’s so much more to life than that and I love getting to know you and your family. She is such a beautiful blessing from God! Hugs to you for being so brave! You are a fabulous mom and may God continue to bless your family!

I have been following you since your pregnancy announcement. I’m one of your older followers and appreciate your sharing of faith throughout your day to day and again through this ultimate trial. She is precious. Continued prayers for Elle and your new threesome. If you wouldn’t mind we are soon to be first time grandparents of Eleanor “Elle” in August. I’m sure my son and daughter in-law ( who also follows you) would most appreciate it. Take care.

  19. Morgan Dunn says:

I am in tears reading this birth story. You and your husband were so graceful in handling this together and giving all the faith in hope that God was going to prevail and keep you and Elle safe.
Thank you for taking the time to share this story. I know it brought up many emotions for you. I continue to pray over your and Elle’s health and give God the glory that everything is okay!
We are pregnant with our first as well, and due in September. I have followed you for awhile, and you have been such a huge blessing for me to turn to during this pregnancy. Thank you for sharing the real and raw side of this. You have no idea how much it means to me, as well as your followers.
    God Bless!

  20. Amanda says:

Whoa. Currently 30 weeks pregnant and feeling all the feels with this. Sitting at work (also a nurse) and trying to keep it together! SO incredibly sorry you had to go through that. But, happy everything worked out in your favor and you’re able to hold your sweet baby today. 🙂

  21. Brooke Stover says:

Congratulations on your sweet baby girl! What a true blessing she is. Exodus 14:14 is my favorite Bible verse, I have it tattooed on my back – it’s one of the most meaningful, simple sentences from the Bible. Glad it brought you peace when you needed it most!

  22. Liza says:

Thank you for sharing your story. This was beautiful! I can’t imagine how scared y’all were, but The Lord is so good! She is the cutest thing!

  23. Krista says:

WOW! I cried the whole time reading this! It is obvious that GOD put all those great people in place when you needed them. Congrats on a beautiful little girl! They grow up fast!!!

  24. Anya says:

Thanks for sharing your story. God was such a protector! Beautiful family and look forward to watching her grow.

  25. Brandi says:

Thank you so much for sharing such a personal story. I am so happy that sweet Eloise is doing great and made it here safely. My heart goes out to you and I’m so sorry you had to deal with all of that stress. I pray the Lord blesses you with a relatively easy path from here on out. I am awaiting the arrival of our first child right now as well. 7 more weeks to go! Reading this just made my heart drop for you. I’m sure it was not an easy thing to write this all out but I really appreciate you sharing! Eloise is beautiful!!!

  26. Jodie says:

Love your story and so glad you were surrounded by so many God living and praying people. I too had very low amniotic fluid at the end of my pregnancy which wasn’t discovered until I was 40 weeks and I was induced with my almost 14 year old daughter. All I was ever told was they didn’t know how I could have lost or had low fluid. My OB never did an ultrasound close to the end and I saw another doctor who thankfully decided I should have one. Eloise is beautiful and I wish you and your family all the best!!

  27. Haley says:

So scary! I also had an emergency c-section when my daughter’s heart stopped beating during labor at 38 weeks. Telling the story makes me cry every time. So glad you had an amazing team to take care of you and sweet Eloise!

  28. Stephanie Ginn says:

Wow! Gods provision is real!! She is beautiful. Love her name (same as my 18 month old daughter)! Enjoy the newborn snuggles!

  29. Robin Spell says:

Loves reading this and following along! Love continuing to follow your journey as little girls have a special place in my heart!

  30. KELLY LEYVA says:

So beautiful!! Thank God everything happened in his way and she is safe! Such a beautiful doll. Xoxo

  31. Ellen says:
