I am currently on the plane ride home from Fashion Week in New York. I feel like my heart might explode with how much I want to see Andrew and Elle. This is a blog post for another day but I can already tell that traveling will NEVER be the same ever again. She was on my mind from the second I woke up until I went to sleep that night. It wasn’t that I didn’t trust the people she was with or anything she is just a part of me and I truly felt like half my heart was still in GA. Anyways like I said another blog post for another day.

I had originally planed on having this post live prior to going on the trip but I’m honestly glad I am typing it up after. I feel like I can really give examples of what saw and how it was styled. I did a little research to see what trends would be coming this Fall and so I knew what to expect when I arrived and it was CRAZY to walk in a show room and see them come to life. We had such an amazing time. I went to my first Fashion Show and we sat front row. It was insane and I am pretty sure nothing like that will ever happen in my life ….ever again. This entire weekend was a pinch me moment, honestly from the fact that I even got to come. — Truly have the most supportive husband, Mom and Mother in Law — I would never have gotten to go without them. Ok on to these trends because I feel like they are fun and it will be exciting to work them into outfits this season.

New York Fashion week means something different to everyone. Some people could care less about Fall trends, and what will be hot Spring 2020. Others follow it like hawks and live for the runway shows. As for me, before I started blogging, honestly before last year when I came to NYC for the first time I had no idea what Fashion Week really was. What I experienced last year was the BEST and I came home so inspired and ready to take on the world.  Everyone around you is in their creative element and the entire city if FULL of inspiration and excitement. You can not leave and not feel motivated and pumped up to hustle.

I am writing this blog post for two reasons. The first being that I really enjoy following trends in Fashion. I find it very interesting and the second is I think it is nice to let you know what you might be seeing in store in the near future. After some research here are the top five trends I think we can except to see this season.

1. Mini Crossbody

2. Capes

3. Slip dresses / One shoulder Dresses

4. Men’s Wear/ 80’s Jacket / Oversized Blazer

5.  Graphic Tees
